Famous Revolucion

August
always has us questioning ourselves. What is the best outfit to wear for a warm
and stuffy day that can also survive sudden rain showers, which seem to erupt
out of the sky at any given moment! We’ve all made the mistake of thinking
we’re safe to stay in holiday mode and wear sandals to work, only to be caught
in a shower and have soggy feet for the rest of the day. Sob.

All of
our woes at raindrops and summer storms were forgotten about at the Almost
Famous New Menu Launch that we hosted last week. We invited a group of bloggers
and press, told them to wear their loosest clothing and bring their biggest
appetites for what was an incredible feast! Almost Famous have always taken
their menu inspiration from the USA and a year after opening their Leeds
restaurant, have revitalised their offering with the juiciest and awe-inspiring
new burgers and fries imaginable! As well as glorious, gluttonous food, our
guests were treated to the new cocktails from the menu – one of which, the Soda
Shack Gimlet had everyone oohing and ahhing with delight! It tastes like the
drink version of a lemon cheesecake and is out of this world! Head over to

We’re
also delighted to be working with Revolucion de Cuba, who are launching in
Leeds in mid-October with a £1.5 million make-over of what was the old Baracoa
site. Revolucion de Cuba who also have venues in Manchester and Sheffield will
be opening one of the biggest new bars and restaurants in Leeds with a split
level venue including a ‘showpiece’ main bar, two upstairs bars, a stage for
live music and function/club room that can fit up to 700 customers!

We
can’t wait for Call Lane to see a bit of a revival after so much of the focus
has moved to the Northern Quarter and Merrion Street.

As
always, it’s been busy, busy at PGHL HQ and we were in London last week to
promote the Solace London Sample Sale. Our Promo girls were on hand to
advertise the sample sale on Brick Lane last weekend! We love
Solace and it’s becoming a huge name after being worn by the likes
of Kendall Jenner and J Lo and most recently Emily Ratajkowski at the premier of We Are Your Friends in America last night.

Excitingly,
we have also started working with Benfield Motors on various events and we can’t wait for the launch of the new Ford
Mustang this autumn.
