This
week at PGHL we were discussing one of our favourite quotes; the famous words
uttered by Yves Saint Laurent, ‘Fashion fades, but style is eternal’. Style is
important to us personally as we use it to define ourselves externally,
reflecting our true personalities through clothes and fashion. However, style
is also important professionally and is especially reflected through attention
to detail and design when we set out to create memorable events. This week, we
combined our distinct PGHL style with the effortless cool of Denham Leeds, as
we threw their store launch party. Jason Denham gave a fabulous welcoming talk
to the guests before cutting a denim ribbon and inviting guests to peek inside
their Leeds store. We had caterers making ice cream from scratch using nitrogen
and then hosted an after party at Roland’s to celebrate further.
Our
stylish week continued when we worked with Topshop as part of their Pay Day
promotion in London. We had a fleet of 6
brand ambassadors on Topshop branded bikes circulating Oxford Street to
distribute Topshop/Topman scratch cards to be used in store!
We were
also thrilled at the success of launching the new summer menu at The New Conservatory,
with bloggers and press alike loving the new items available for summer. As
part of The New Conservatory’s series of Open Mic Nights on Thursday, there is
going to be an acoustic battle competition on 27th August where the winner will be
presented with a very stylish Martin Acoustic guitar worth £500, along with
other prizes! It’s going to be a fantastic event and anyone taking part will be
treated to Heineken’s amazing offer of free beer all night long. Now that will
definitely give us the courage to get up on that stage – although we doubt
we’ll be doing that with much style!
