October / November round up

We’ve been working our socks off here at Pink Gorilla
recently, however the pay-off has been more than worth it - our clients have
really felt the full force of the PG effect with some awesome results! As we
plough towards the hectic festive season, here’s a little round-up of where
we’ve been and where we’ll be going over the coming weeks.

The Cocktail
Experience

Although we like to think we kind of rock when it comes to
throwing a good party, we were still more than a little nervous as the date of
our own party approached! The Cocktail Experience debuted on Friday 14th
October, and was a resounding success with 750 attendees enjoying some
block-rocking beats and the finest cocktails from the city’s best bars – all against
the stunning backdrop of Aspire.

The team absolutely smashed it, and we’d like to say a big
thanks to the extended PG family and all the bars involved who helped make the
evening so memorable. Needless to say, The Cocktail Experience will be back, so
look out for the next chapter in 2017.

Scotty ‘Prince
Charming’ T crowns his Princess

After searching the lovely land of Yorkshire high and low,
we’re pleased to announce that The White Rose Theatre Group finally found their
Snow White – with a little help from the productions leading man. Yes, Geordie
Shore heartbreaker Scotty Timlin was in our ‘toon to help the judges pick the
very cream of the crop.

The final audition took place at Revolución de Cuba, and after much deliberation the lucky
winner was chosen. Lucy Dures from Barnsley won over the panel with her
impressive set of pipes, slick dance moves and uncanny resemblance to Snow
White herself. You can catch the £1m production at The Tetley between December
8th and January 1st.

Man’s Market is
almost here

Remember we told you about an exciting new Chinese
restaurant concept heading to Leeds? Well, Candypants owner, Ray Chan, has been
working on his latest venture flat out and the launch is here! This place is going to be
something really special.

So, what can you expect? Mans Market promises to make you fall in love with Chinese food all over
again, with a hip new approach to the entire dining experience. In short, this is the kind of joint that will make you feel
good, whether your knocking back shots at the bar with friends or dining out on
date night.

Party with Parr

On the 7th October, Emmerdale actor Mike Parr
threw a glittering charity fundraiser at Oracle Bar and Nightclub and the evening
couldn’t have gone any better.

Over £6k was raised on the night, which goes towards the
fantastic Steve Prescott foundation, but Mike hasn’t stopped there – he’s also
just completed the Everest Challenge, raising even more cash in the process!
Mike has asked us to thank all of those that supported the event and his mega,
mountain challenge.

 Victoria Gate is here

Unless you’ve had your head in the clouds for the last few
weeks, you may have noticed Leeds has got a brand new, shiny shopping centre.
Yes, Victoria Gate is finally here and we’ve been working with them on some
exciting projects, so keep your eyes peeled for our team!

Our Topshop promo work has also taken us all over the UK and
Ireland, giving lucky customers complimentary makeovers and pick and mix – did
you spot us out an about?

Well that’s all for this month guys – don’t forget to follow
us on social media to get the skinny on the latest happenings in Leeds and
beyond!
