Surf’s up in Leeds

In… Out… Or shake it all about? We’re leaning firmly towards
the latter this month in team PGHL, as we gear up for the launch dates for
Leeds biggest disco and a surf shack bar.

Before we reveal all, we’d like to say a big
thanks to everyone that attended the England v Wales game at Thorpe Park
Business Park - what an event. Lucky employees enjoyed the game on a giant
outdoor screen with free beer and a 99 courtesy of our ice-cream van; we even
managed to fix the score, with England’s last minute 2-1 victory!

Bit of
surf on Leeds turf

The Hedonist Project have now become synonymous
with forward-thinking bar concepts and their next venture might just be their
most ingenious yet. Trader Dan’s Surf Shack is the rum and cocktail bar set to
bring a slice of Hawaii to the city, and will be decked out accordingly in
partnership with sponsors Quiksilver.

Expect a blistering playlist of late nineties
and early noughties rap, rock and indie bangers, awesome Polynesian and
Caribbean food and an abundance of good vibes. The shack is open from the
beginning of July, be there, or be square.

Big Disco is kind of
a big deal

So, from the largest panto Leeds has seen, we end with the
world’s biggest disco ball (which just so happens to be two and a half times
the size of a double decker bus!). The party starts at 3pm on Friday the 1st
July, when the carnival-esque event fires up and a host of first-class DJ’s
blast out the best of soul, funk and of course, disco! Craig Charles, Alex
Metric and the Utah Saints will be stepping up to the decks, as well as Adam,
Danny and Jo Jo from Capital.

If you’ve not yet bought your ticket, then purchase
them here
and be part of an event that’s set to go down as the party to end
all parties.
