Can you believe it’s the end of February already? Time flies when you’re having fun and we’ve been having lots of it at PGHL this month, as well as being very excited to be working with some amazing new businesses launching in Leeds.
This month saw an exotic new addition to the Leeds restaurant scene as Khana Bombay Café opened its doors in Headingley. Founded by Adam Karim, owner of Rosso’s in Manchester which is co-founded by Rio Ferdinand, Khana Bombay Café brings the spirit of Bombay and classic Indian cuisine to Leeds. This isn’t your typical ‘curry house’ as not only is it all day dining, there’s even a DJ taking care of music from Thursday to Saturday! Could this restaurant be any cooler? Well yes actually, as we’ve been offering 50% off all dishes in February through PG Promo and we be hosted a press and bloggers event to showcase just how good the food and atmosphere really is!
Then, from a taste of India we’re treating you all to a taste of glamour - Yorkshire style, as we’ve been working with the lovely ladies at Yorkshire Blow Dry to spread the word about their amazing express blow dry salon with a very special offer on PG Promo. Yorkshire Blow Dry is a new addition to the recently revamped Central Arcade and combines rustic chic decor with an ultra-luxurious experience. We’ve been inviting press and bloggers to experience Yorkshire Blow Dry for themselves and they’ve all been raving about how pampered they felt and how gorgeous their hair was. One of our favourite things about YBD is that every customer has a Polaroid picture taken of themselves and added to their Hall Of Fame wall! You are guaranteed to leave the salon feeling a million dollars!
They say summer bodies are made in winter and our client, Cryotherapy UK are certainly creating some hot bodies with their ice cold treatments. Cryotherapy uses liquid nitrogen at -160c to tighten skin, reduce the appearance of cellulite and aid inch loss. We hosted a fabulous launch party at XS Salon with demos of Cryotherapy, express Gel manicures, GHD curls and of course, a glass of prosecco for everyone who attended.
We’re also thrilled to be working with Cocktails in the City again this year, which takes place on 7th and 8th April at Leeds Town Hall. There is already a buzz in the city for what is set to be one of the hottest nights of the Leeds calendar, and we’re hosting a preview evening of what’s to come at Bar Soba next week! Mixologists will be creating some delicious cocktails and we’ll be exclusively revealing some of the bars that are taking part this year.
Phew! Now we think about it, no wonder it’s almost the end of the month! Can’t wait to see what next month has in store…
