Hello Autumn!

Talk about ending the summer season with a bang. September was such a
corking month for Pink Gorilla and Hairy Lemon, it’s been and gone in the blink
of an eye.

We’ve launched Leeds hottest new restaurant, got our rave-on in the VIP
area and rubbed shoulders with world-class DJ’s and organised the best 13th
birthday party Leeds has even seen. Here’s a full round up of our most recent
and forthcoming events!

Mint Festival was…well, mint!

After weeks of torrential rain, the sun finally got his hat out and
dancing shoes on and shone down on the beautiful crowds in attendance at this
year’s Mint Festival. We had the pleasure of hosting the VIP lounge and despite
being rushed off our feet, still managed to throw a few shapes in  the Hard Times tent, where the legendary Todd
Terry nearly tore the roof off with a red hot set. An amazing time was had by
all, and we hope to be back next year.

Holy cow…Stockdale’s of
Yorkshire hits South Parade

If you’re a steak lover and you haven’t tried the melt-in-your-mouth
Wagyu beef at Leeds latest foodie haven, you’re missing out. The launch
literally saw herds (see what we did?) of local carnivores flocking (and again)
into the stunning new restaurant on South Parade to sample their fine beef cuts
and fancy cocktails. With all the glitz you’d expect with such a high-end joint
combined with a dash of local charm, Stockdale’s truly nailed it.

Roxy Lanes are doing it for the
kids

Whereas many city centre bars go by the mantra that children shouldn’t
be seen or heard, Roxy Lanes are going against the grain with Roxy Juniors.
Between Sunday-Friday 3-6pm and Saturday 10am-3pm you can bring your little
monsters along for a spot of bowling at some pocket-money friendly prices.

It’s £5 per game, but they also offer parties for six or more at £10 per
kid, which includes a pizza buffet and soft drink on top of their bowling. Get
in touch with us if you have any enquiries at info@pinkgorilla.co.uk

Jamiefest at The Faversham

Can you remember your 13th birthday party? No, we can’t
recall ours either. One girl that won’t forget hers in a hurry was Jamie, who
celebrated in style by throwing her own festival at The Faversham. With DJ’s,
beatboxers, body painters, photo booth and even a rodeo bull, 100 raving 13
year olds descended upon the venue to show the oldies how it’s done!

 Christmas in
Wonderland with Leeds United

What happens when you combine Leeds United, Alice
in Wonderland and Christmas? Yorkshire’s finest festive bash, that’s what. Come
down to the Centenary Pavilion venue this December and experience a party
that’s madder than the Mad Hatter himself. The entire venue will be transformed
into a place of wonder and enchantment, as you enjoy pre-dinner drinks followed
by a delicious Christmas dinner with a unique twist.

As you dine atop toadstools, in and amongst oversized
teapots and playing cards, Alice and her barmy army of friends and foe will put
on an unforgettable, interactive show like nothing you’ve seen before. The
night will be capped off more live performance and a DJ spinning your favourite
party anthems. Needless to say, we’re more than slightly excited about this one
– are you ready to celebrate Christmas in Wonderland?
