From Leeds to London

When
the early morning sunlight begins to stream through the blinds in the morning
and the bird song beckons us to wake up and see the new day, we no longer pull
the pillow over our heads and sink back beneath the duvet. All of the exciting
events and work we’ve got going on at PGHL this summer have sparked a fire in
our bellies that gets us jumping up and out of bed, ready to rock our socks
off!

We’ve
had a corker of a fortnight, with the launch of Deliveroo –a new delivery
company that collect food from your favourite restaurants and bring it to you,
whether you’re at work and fancy a My Thai or at home watching TOWIE craving a
Red’s True Barbecue.  On one of our busy
days, we had a deliveroo from Chino Latino delivered straight to PGHL HQ for a
business lunch! We were so impressed, definitely glad to be waving goodbye to
soggy sandwiches and beige pastries from now on! We love that you can just
order food from your favourite restaurants and have them delivered quickly and
easily by Deliveroo.  Their service is
currently available in Leeds City Centre and Headingley within a 2.2km radius
of the restaurant.

When we
do feel like venturing out however, we know exactly where to head to now the
long anticipated Nourish has opened its doors! We held a press launch party last week
to celebrate and invited a huge bunch of Leeds bloggers and health conscious
foodies to sample the menu and enjoy a Q&A session with founder and
nutritionist David Stache.

However,
all of our healthy eating went flying out the window faster than champagne
corks that were popping at the In The Style summer party last week. The Summer
party was held in association with Now magazine at The Drury Club in London and
it was one of the best nights we’ve had in memory!

Our
clients Slendertoxtea and Doll White hosted stands in the gifting lounge, where
we treated celebs and top bloggers to try our products. This event was so much
fun and we got to rub shoulders with the stars who have been endorsing our
products for us such as Holly Hagan, Charlotte Crosby, Lauren Pope, Katie
Price, Nikki Grahame and the boys from TOWIE. It was great to meet with Vas who
loved his sample of Doll White and watch Lauren Pope absolutely smash her DJ
set! We also got up close and personal to Stooshe during their sound check who performed their top hits on the night.

We were
then back to London again this week for Bloggers Love Hub Food and Drink
Festival, which was held at Kanaloa - a very cool, very London Tiki bar. We
made sure to give all the bloggers some Slendertoxtea and they all loved their
gifts!

Did you
know that we are hosting the VIP arena with Hard Times & Friends at Mint
Festival next month? This year, the hugely popular festival is taking place at
Wetherby Racecourse and we are so excited for what is set to be the biggest and
best event yet!

As if
those weren’t enough reasons to get us giddy as a kipper, this Thursday is our
new summer menu launch event at The New Conservatory. Guests will be treated to
a prosecco reception, cocktails taster and the chance to sample the new summer
dishes!  There will be live music from
6pm and a fun casino with some very exciting prizes. The New conservatory is an
old favourite in Leeds city centre however it has recently had a bit of a
revamp, with lots of outdoor seating – perfect for enjoying this lovely, long
summer we’re having.
