The Start Of Summer - Pink Gorilla Hairy Lemon

image

It feels like summer has been teasing us for a while
now. Batting us between bursts of sunshine and heavy showers like a cat tossing its plaything from paw to paw. But now at Pink Gorilla Hairy Lemon, we finally
feel like summer has arrived! The days are getting longer, the air is feeling
warmer and everyone seems to be sharing a sunny disposition with the blue skies
ahead.

And what could be more indicative of our favourite
season than the Topshop X Olympus Pen Camera Summer Schools which began this
week! Our amazing team went down to London to spend the day at Topshop, Oxford
Circus for the first of five Summer Schools which are being hosted by various
bloggers and photographers giving their expert advice and tips to inspire the
next generation. Our MUAs gave free makeovers using Topshop’s new makeup range and even took part
in a couple of photoshoots!

Obviously with summer fast
approaching, you’ll want to feel body confident, which many of us don’t
after a long winter of cold nights and comfort food. This is where our new
client Slendertoxtea comes in. Their detox teas are designed to cleanse your
system so that you can be beach ready. This week alone, we’ve delivered
Slendertoxtea to a number of impressive celebrities including Kerry Katona,
Rosie from Made In Chelsea and Scotty from Geordie Shore who all absolutely love
their teas!

We were also thrilled to host Roxy Lane’s 1st birthday party this week and made
sure Leeds’ only boutique
bowling alley celebrated in style with bowling competitions, lots of bubbly and
of course a custom birthday cake!

On Thursday 21st May we are so excited to be hosting
the official launch party of Leeds Food Festival at Epernay. We’ll be treating guests with delicious
Epernay cocktails as well as burgers from neighbouring Almost Famous. It’s set to be a great night and an even
greater festival!

Next week we will be overseeing the launch of
Grapeful, Leeds’ new annual wine
festival which will
officially launch summer 2015 with wine tastings of over 100 different wines,
masterclasses and great live music. Grapeful is taking place
over the bank holiday weekend on 23rd and 24th May against the majestic
background of Leeds Town Hall but If you don’t have your tickets yet, then don’t worry! You can buy them here or
on the door, although we strongly recommend you to buy tickets in advance to
avoid the big bank holiday queues.
